I put my XV in as there was a loud rattling noise with the CVT transmission and two independent mechanics had mentioned the transmission would need replacement, so I booked it into Subaru Mentone to check to see if it was a manufacturing fault as the car was purchased in 2017 and not yet 100,000kms yet outside of warranty, within the day they contacted me that they had put in a request to the Subaru head office to be able to undertake the transmission removal and replacement works, which was all approved, works commenced straight away and within a week I had my car back and running smoothly at no cost to me! They were incredible to deal with and great communicators, I’m so greatful going to them as I love my Subaru and they have ultimately prolonged its life! Thanks again to the service team at Subaru Mentone! 🥳
